Hey, I'm DJ Jazz B and I'm going to explain how to make some money DJing. When you're DJing, a lot of it has to do with your reputation. It's going to, it's kind of something that you build overtime. It's kind of hard just to jump into DJing and make lots of money. Most important is your song list. You want to be able to entertain a crowd and you're going to be entertaining different crowds. Depending on your venue, you could be spinning rock music, hip hop music, you know, just top 40 stuff. There's lots of different kinds of music that you're going to need to have in order to be making money DJing. If you want to make a living out of it, obviously you're going to have to be working several nights a week and that could mean doing lots of different gigs. I mean lots of, lots of different kinds of gigs including weddings, clubs. You can also DJ on the radio. To DJ on the radio is a great way to get your name out and get more higher paying gigs. It's a lot easier to be a DJ now since a lot of DJs use computers and it's easier to get your music collection together. So your reputation and your DJ name is important. You want to have a catchy name and you want to have, you're going to have to build up overtime a reputation for, you know, keeping people entertain and that's how to make money being a DJ.
