Oh, hi I'm Richard Rifkin and we're here at the Merlin Theatre in Budapest, Hungary. And we're going to talk a little bit about how to become a comedian. I imagine the best way for you to start if you want to be a comedian, is to get a little bit of experience. Even if it's just some knowledge. Go to some comedy clubs; go to your favorite bars where they may have a stand up comic once in awhile. Or your restaurants. Take a look, great idea; take a look at some of the old comedian's videos. Or now they're on DVD. Richard Pryor, Steve Martin, George Carlin. Take a look at stand-up comics. What they do, how they do their work. How they can get that punch line in there and make you laugh. There are also probably some classes on stand-up comedy. Theatre, Comedy Theatre, you can go and be a comedic actor. And practice a little bit. Even in your own hometown, you can start to learn how to be a comedian before you go and try to make it "Big Time" in New York or Los Angeles or London or anywhere in the world. But don't forget, you've got to get some experience. So, check out schools, checkout classes that are being taught by either actors or comedians themselves in your area. Also there's a lot of great books out there. Check on the Internet. Check and see what books are available for you. That you might enjoy. Not just to learn, but to enjoy the read. Anyway, I have a feeling, you might just be the next comedic, enjoy. Bye-bye.
