Hi, my name is Ed Reyes with Master Builders here in Tampa, Florida and I am representing Expert Village. I am going to show you how to use a reciprocating saw properly. The saw has various types of blades. It is going to depend on what kind of material you are cutting. This blade particularly here is a metal blade. It will have a very very small tooth made for cutting metal and steel. You have different lengths of blades that come up as large as 12 inches. If you get to be where you are cutting wood, then we would use a wood blade and that has larger wider teeth. Installation is quite simple. There is a section right here on the side of this blade that has a hex-head and we would simply take an Allen wrench and insert that Allen wrench, turn counter clockwise and pull the blade out. Once you pull the blade out, you would insert the new blade in teeth facing up and of course, clockwise tighten the blade down towards tight again. The blade does move in and out so you want to be careful. Unplug this unit first and you want to make sure that you tighten this very tight because you don't want the blade coming out while it is in use because it will be at high speed.
