"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you today how to draw a snowman cartoon for this holiday season. Alrighty, so let's take some brown and we'll color in our arms here. Again, we are just kind of following the lines that we've set out for ourselves. We'll do this on both sides here. Notice that I'm not worrying too much about the fine details now. You can kind of go back over that later on. One of the brightest colors you are going to have is on your nose. I recommend a smaller felt orange pen for this. If you did a lot of drawing around Halloween, don't be ashamed to use the exact same color as a pumpkin. Actually, that's very, very close to true carrot color. And we are going to want to come in here...I recommend an incredible dark blue or a dark black for the hat. And for the hat, I tend to make it a little more severe. I want it to stand out a little bit more than some of the other items on our snowperson. The other thing to use is purple. Purple for the scarf is great. Purple and the orange really offset each other well. And then our snowperson has a very, very bright article of clothing. They don't have a whole lot of clothing on, so I mean, it's kind of nice that they have a bright flash. And we are going to color this in all the way solid. And then, you can outline in either a darker purple color or in black. You know, it's up to your discretion to the exact color scheme that you want. But I've actually heard that purples and violet work very, very well for scarves. You can put in patterns here. You can do all sorts of different things for your scarf. Again, use your imagination here. As much as these steps try to guide you, don't ever think that you don't have a lot of creative discretion as your own personal artist. Because you are; anyone who is doing this is an artist. Lastly, the eyes. Get a good black here. And this is the only area that you are going to want to be a little careful because you are going to want to generally stick with your circle. So try and stick with that. Try to keep the eyes relatively the same shape. They don't have to be perfect, but they can be close. And little black circles for our smiling mouth. And then I usually like to do a little quick black outline for the buttons."
