Cutting Animal Face Purse Patterns

"Now I'm going to show you how to cut out your pattern pieces. We have our pattern pieces that we made and we have some felt. In this regards I'm going to use two pieces of felt and cut through that because I need a front side and a back side. So I'm going to place my pattern on here. This is my white piece. I also have my black pieces laid out. You're going to need some straight pins. I'm going to pin all the way through the fabric. Make sure that you're not pinning it to the tablecloth or to yourself where you're working. Pin through. You don't have to pin all the way around. Just pin it so it stays. There you go. And if you're going to make more than one these patterns will keep for a very long time. So again, I have really sharp fabric scissors. These are very important. Don't use scissors that you've cut with paper because they won?t cut the fabric very well. And just hold the pattern down with your hand because you didn't pin all the way around the edge. And just follow the edge as best you can all the way around. You want to make sure that you cut both pieces of your large part of your purse together because we're going to be sewing these together later. And it's very important that they match. You don't want to cut them individually because the cuts won?t be the same. And just move it around. You can move the fabric as you need it. Make sure you hold that down. There. I have two lovely pieces that match up. Cut out the rest of your pieces and that's how you cut out a pattern."
