"So, for this alternate portrait, our subject is going to have a slightly devilish flair. For this, we're going to need to go over our under-painting with some reds and other paler shades to give more depth and shadow. So let's start here at the outside. I'm just going to start to drag some darker pigmentation across. Now, to represent stronger skin or some shadow, I have this stronger towards the back of the hand. But, I'm also going to keep extending this down close to the fingertips and the undersides. I mean, you're going to see actually there's going to be a large convergence on where you can still see some of the exposed sketch and where you're going to be going with these lines. Let's keep dragging these around. Start getting light on paint, go back to grab some more. We're also going to grab some paler shade, some white. If you start actually noticing your brush squiggling up too much, grab some media, the ultimate blender. See, now I've actually started adding in some lighter shades. And I'm going to do this to actually continue to keep blending what we've already put down on the canvas to create more depth, shape, and fullness. There'll be some areas where it's going to be lighter. If you've ever actually ever looked at your hands in the light, you're going to have those lighter spots. Make sure this is also a time where you can define some of the edges more thoroughly. And, essentially, our face is going to work very similar to what we've done down here on the hand."
