"Now we're ready to get our paint. Basically, you can find leather paint at most craft stores like a Michael's of a Pearls. Createx is one brand. This is actually for airbrush, but it works really well on leather. This is another paint that I love to use by this company called Angeles. You can order their paint online. They're actually based in Los Angeles. Both of these work. There are more out there that you can find that will work as well. You just want to check the label and make sure it says for fabrics or leathers. Test it out and make sure that it sticks. If you find these, then great. You're on your way. They are water soluble, so you're not going to need any thinners or anything like that. You just need the paints. You can use flat paint. They also make a metallic paint. They're nice to mix together. You probably don't want to do an entire belt of metallic paint. It's really obnoxious. If you want to maybe use it for like little highlights. Maybe on the inside of the flowers. Here and there. Also, if you have any stains or spots on your belt that you want to cover up, the metallics are really good for that. You can mix them together and create different consistencies of the flat and metallic."
