on 11/18/2009 as a professional tattoo artist, i found this highly disgusting, i love the dirty paper towel that is being molested the entire time with bare hands...

no one will ever recommend learning to tattoo without a proper apprenticeship, there is a lot more to it than just applying a tattoo to skin... health and safety is a big factor.

so if you are interested in becoming a tattoo artist, search for a proper apprenticeship, to gain all the skills and knowledge, if you cant find an apprenticeship there is good reason.

on 8/18/2009 If you're going to do tattoos you might want to work on your lining technique. Looks like you drank a pitcher of coffee before you started. If your that shaky it would be wise to go faster in your lines. That was some of the worst Lining I've seen..
There are no consistent lines in the whole tattoo..
Learn to tattoo better if your going to do instructional videos!
just look at the top of the head..
horrible!

on 7/28/2009 People don't want screaming skulls on stretched canvas, but that's what I’m good at. I’m new to tattooing and everywhere I turn there are stuck up artists trying to one up each other in this "Business". No matter where my career takes me, I’ll never forget what it takes to stretch a canvas.

on 6/20/2009 6/20/09 Right on! Jesse Bradley is an excellent instructor. Really easy to understand. I've watched a few different videos looking for the real understanding of tattooing from an explanation, being experienced in painting, drawing, and air brushing already I thought this would be pretty easy but I was wrong and it wasn't until now that I got it. I thought it was perfect all the way through and I could do a good tattoo right now.

"Okay we've finished our tattoo on Mitchell and I am going to go ahead and wipe it down. Okay it's wiped down. I want to discuss for a few minutes the after care of tattoos. I've had quite a bit of experience of getting tattoo at different shops and I have been told many different things by many different artists and tattoo shops. The apprenticeship that I got he promoted dry healing which means just wash it with soap and water by hand, no rags or anything. That is what he did. I personally believe they should apply just a very light coat of A&D Ointment or Vaseline. I mean light coat like just a dab on your finger. Just to keep a little moist and do that one day, wash it up the following day and do that for three days and from that point, just let it do its own healing. Keep some Lubriderm unscented lotion on hand just in case it gets a little dry. Just let it heal naturally just like it was an abrasion. It is really important. Do not put any fragrance lotion or any scented or odd things. Vaseline or A&D Ointment, extremely light coat couple of times a day and from that point Lubriderm and you are set. It's not a bad practice when you finish with the tattoo to put a decent coat of Vaseline over the tattoo and then put some plastic or tape. That is primarily to protect the tattoo from the time you come out of the shop until you get home. We are working in an environment and I am trying to help to give the beginning tattoo artist some information what may help them along the way. So hopefully everything will work out. This tattoo worked out just fine. It's simple and Mitchell seems happy with it. My name is Jesse Bradley representing Expert Village. I just got done showing you some of the basics of tattooing to help the beginning artists to start with his tattooing career and basically I took you guys through inks, machine set up, little bit about the sterilization and some tattooing, what you are going to need as well as the materials you are going to need from the suppliers and the suppliers to contact and that's pretty much where you are at. Good luck on your journey of tattooing and it's been a pleasure doing this for you. "
