"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today, we are going to make a wreath for the very special nurse in your life. This one happens to be for our wonderful school nurse. She has been the nurse for over 20 years and this is her last year so I wanted to make something very special for her for her retirement. What I did was I went to the scrap booking section and the button section of the local craft store and I found these darling buttons that had to do with nursing. So I took the selection of buttons and ribbon and I just felt like the red and white was a very effective thing to do with it. So the first thing you want to do is put your ribbon through your wreath, starting from behind, pulling it through, keeping the shiny side up as you go, weave it in and out through the loops and over the seams, until you come all the way around. Once you have gotten all the way back to the beginning you are going to want to secure your ribbon on the back, so that it does not slip. So you are going take your hot glue, lay a little bead of hot glue, secure the end of the ribbon when it is cold, clip off any extra and secure the other side. Then you want to take your embellishments and place them around until they have the balance that you want to achieve for that wreath. Once you have that, you can very simply take your hot glue gun and put your glue either on the button or the plastic piece or right on the pretzel, put it in and hold it for a second and it is secured. Instead of making a bow for this one, I chose to make a chevron. So when I finished with the ribbon, I actually left it hang from both ends and secured it with the glue and then I made a chevron, which is very simple, you just loop the bow one end over the other, take your hot glue and secure it right there and place the chevron on it and then embellished it with this heart of a nurse and of course you want to do something on the back to hang it and in this case, I used some of the same ribbon to have that consistency. So there I have a very striking special gift for that very special nurse in your life whether it is someone who has just graduated from the nursing school, someone who is caring for you, or a loved one or a gift for that school nurse for your children."
