"Hi! This is Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts on behalf of Expert Village and today I am very proud to present to you my Military Picture Frame made out of mini pretzels. I have a very dear friend whose son just graduated from Marine Boot Camp so I made this one specifically with her and Stephen in mind. What you want to do for this one is take your basic pretzel wreath that you have already shellacked or varnished and then some kind of gold braid that looks very military. What I did with this was a little bit different than what I normally do. First I did put my gold braid through as you can see like I do with my other wreaths, you always want to start behind a joint and come up and down, up and down, but with this I went through once and then I came back and I went through again and I covered the spaces that were not covered the first time. So that I had a lot of gold braid going through the wreath and then after I did that, I still went even further with the gold braid and looped it over so that it would have a lot of gold braid. Because you do not want to make it fluffy or froufrou for sure unless of course it is a female marine but she might not even like that. So you want to go all the way around, weaving it in and out in any way that you would want to. When you are completely finished, go ahead and take your hot glue, lay a bead in a joint, put your ribbon or your lace or your braid in there, hold it for a second until it is cool and then clip it off. I found these wonderful stickers in the craft store in the scrap booking section but you can also find toy soldiers and other things that represent our military in the toy section of your local store as well. I did turn this into a picture frame was to take a square of tag-board and cut it so that it just fit and then glued on the two corners below or you can glue it on the top and that gives room for that very wonderful photo that that proud mom is going to put in there of her marine cadet. So this how you make a Military Picture Frame. "
