" Hi! This is Brenda and today we are working on our paper doll project. Now we have already cutout our paper doll like this and this is what we are going to be using throughout the project. Now first I am going to get some paper because using these markers it can get on your tablecloth so I have a Sharpie here and then I am going to decide first if this is going to be a girl paper doll. So what I am going to do is just draw some little eyebrows, some cute little eyes like this, little nose and a little mouth. Now if you do not feel comfortable drawing a face you can always cut a face out of a magazine like I have done here and glue that on instead. It is also a cute idea to get a picture; maybe actually of a little girl that is going to be playing with this and cut her picture out and put it here and then it can be her own personal little doll. Now after I have done this, I am going to just draw some shoes; may be some just basic black shoes that will go with everything, just fill in like this with my Sharpie. If you want to draw some underwear on that you can also do that and I wouldn’t put too much on that there because you are going to be using other paper later to make some clothes so you do not want to have it done too much on there because that will be coming up later in the project. You can add yarn up here at the top and glue that on and that can be her hair, you can braid the yarn if you like or you can put raffia for her hair or if you wanted to, you can just leave it plain like this, so it is just up to you."
