"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be taking about removing electrical outlet covers. Before we can paint we need to remove the electrical outlet covers, go ahead and take a screwdriver and loosen those up, now it's not necessary that you turn off the electricity as long as your careful not to stick your screwdriver in one of your holes. Now if your outlet doesn't come off because it's stuck you can take your screwdriver and tap the top of it and the side until it falls right off. Now you don't want to jam in there because then you'll cause a div it that you need to fill later. The switch covers will be removed the same way. If your planning on reusing these outlet covers you may want to save the screws in a small plastic bag. "
