"Hi, I'm Gary for Expert Village. The next thing we want to do is take our straw, which is going to be used as our, let's call it a needle, and it's going to be used on the, against the poster board and this will gauge our air pressure. What we need to do is take the straw and cut it so that it is about six inches long and once we have our piece that's six inches long we take the scissor and we're going to make kind of an angled cut because we want it to be able to, one side is going to actually be like a pointer and the other side we also want to tape down the side we're going to tape down the top of the balloon we want it to have a type of, like a flat edge to it so that we know that when we put the tape on it, it's going to be sitting nice and straight and flat. So, from both ends we make a flat side, one is going to be our pointer and the other side is going to be flat so we can tape it down on the top of the balloon. And now that we've cut the straw we're going to tape it onto the top of the balloon. We have to make sure that we want to put the flat side down so we can, the tape can hold it in a comfortable way that makes sure that it's sitting flat on top of the balloon. And we also have to make sure that the tip of the straw is in the center of the balloon and that will give us the accuracy and the movement that we're looking for on the balloon. So we have to make sure that it's in the center and that the flat side is down and we put the tape on top of that. And this is how we put the straw, which is going to be our needle of our gauge, onto to balloon."
