"Ok, so we went ahead and dug those cracks out. Next thing to do is tape them up. This is a special mesh tape. You can get it at any hardware store and it's sticky on one side. So I'm just going to apply this stuff directly to the cracks. Make sure you have a pair of scissors so you can cut the tape. Make sure you have a decent knife to smooth it out with just like that. You just have these little chips in areas like this, you don't obviously need to use the tape. Its more when you have a straight line. Ok, now we're ready to patch."
