"Hi, my name is Tim Ambrosius. I'm a professional guitar technician. I'm going to show you how to adjust the height of your pickup on your electric guitar. As you can see, the pickup is sitting too low in the pickup ring. So, what we need to do is just adjust these two screws there and bring it back up. First, what you have, is two screws on each side. Now, these are going to adjust the height. If you tighten them, you are going to bring that side of the pickup up. And, if you loosen them, it's going to bring that side of the pickup down. Right now, as you can see the pickup is sitting really low. You don't want them right next to your strings but you also don't want them sitting this low. You want it probably about 1/4 of an inch off the strings. So, what you want to do is tighten each side, and you'll see the pickup rise. You want to do each side evenly. It's a little bit high, so bring it down just a little bit. If you want a really hot sound you can put them up closer to the strings. That looks about right, right there. As you can see, the pickup is about a 1/4 of an inch off the strings, and it's even, it's flat."
