"Okay, are you ready? Alright, now on your blank piece of paper here's what I want you to do. Here's the first thing. I want you to leave a space from the top and I want you to go all the way across your paper, okay. Go all the way like that. Now I want you to divide the page into three equal parts. So, it will probably be something like this. You want to leave a little bit more space in the middle section. And we'll come down here, and we'll come down here. Okay? In the top left hand one I want you to write "Act I". In the center I want you to write "Act 2". And, in the end spot "Act 3". So it looks like this. This is how your page should look. Believe it or not this is the beginning of your story. Ninety percent of scripts, whether they are written for theater, film, or television, will use this basic formula. You don't have to use it but it's best if we start here and learn to do it the right way before we reinvent the wheel."
