"Step pivot; we're first going to start with our right foot on the ball, jazz hands are down; we're going to have to go into your demi-plie position. That means to bend the knees. You're going to step; bring that right foot out and you go down and pivot. Look at my back heel; the back heel is not down, the back heel is up on the ball. You're going to take that same foot and step and pivot; again your foot stays up. Again and step; pivot, step you stay down; pivot, step; pivot, step and pivot. Now that was on the right side but if you step with your right foot you have to pivot the opposite way; to the left and step, and pivot. Now we're going to take the same thing on the left side. So if we step we're going to place our left foot up on the ball; we're going to step and demi-plie with our left foot. Now we have to pivot to our right in opposition and pivot, that left foot stays up on the ball; that will let us know that that's the foot that we're going to bring forward to step, 1 and pivot 2; stay in a plie, step; pivot and step, and pivot."
