"I will now demonstrate a vertical figure 8. You want to begin by slightly bending the knees, bringing the right hip up, pushing it out, and bringing it down. You’re going to go over to the left, bring it up, out, and down. Bring it up, out, down, up, out, down. You’re goal is to do this and isolate the rest of your body, so that it elongates the hip. Now, we’re going to reverse this figure 8 by bringing the hip up and in, up and in, up and in, up and in. This ends our segment on vertical figure 8s.
