How to Play a 2nd Inversion Piano Chord

"Hi, I'm Mike Lais and on behave of Expert Village this is Piano Chord Voices. So now we are on to the second inversion, but once again the inversion is just simply the chord flipped upside down. So if the first inversion we start on the third, you may have already guest that the second inversion we are just going to start on the fifth. We are just simply taking the bottom two notes now and putting them on top as opposed to just the root. Let?s do an example of it. So we have our root chord here, we are going to keep the G chord. We are going to go G, B, D. And our first inversion we were three, five, one. Now for the second inversion I am going to take the B and put that on top of the G. So we are going to go five, one, three. Just like that. So that is our second inversion of the G chord. It is still the same, still the same notes. If we are going to go like this and then we are going to go and play the second inversion, we are going to be right up here where we are going to go five, one, three again and it is the same chord. It just has a little bit different feel to it. And were we have the fifth on bottom. So that is our second inversion. Again, that is five, one, three. And that is our second inversion."
