The Cut Deeper Force Card Magic Trick

" Hi everybody! Malik the Magic Guy for expertvillage.com. Now I’m going to show you another really cool card force. This is so good, I almost wasn’t sure if I wanted to put it on here, but we’re going to have Mr. Hand again, and we’re going to use the same force card. Now Mr. Hand, what I would like you to do is cut off a small portion of cards, flip them over and put them back on top of the deck…great, now cut a little deeper than you did the first time, flip those over and put those on top of the deck. So now we have the spot in the deck with the cards changed direction. I won’t give you the card I can see, because obviously I know that one. But if I give you the first faced down card, you’ll see that’s the force card, the 8 of clubs. Now let me show you how that works, this is actually another one based on a optical illusion. We start with our force card on top of the deck. What’s going to happen is Mr. Hand is going to cut this just like this, so that reverses it once. Now that leaves the 8 of clubs right here. Now when he cuts it again, the 8 of clubs is right here, so it’s basically staying in it’s position, it’s just getting a few cards added on top of it, just like that. So let me run through that again for you. So Mr. Hand is going to cut a small portion of cards, flip them over, he’s going to cut a little deeper than he did the first time and flip them over, and then when you go through the deck you’ll find the first faced down card and that’s your force card. This is an excellent force to use if you’re using cards that are little to big for your hands, if you have to use jumbo cards. I still use this force all the time, so this is really a very powerful force, also you can find this in another great book on magic called, “The Klutz Book of Magic,” along with a bunch of other great tricks.
