"And now we're going to apply our green in the background the colors I'm using today are an olive green, nimeral green a lighter color of a lime green. And so I'm going to start with my darker color first I'm going right here next to the sky with my darkest green. One of the things about what you want to do with aquarelle pencil is you want to achieve a layer look so I'm going to put my dark green on here and then I'm going to go with my next color in here and then I'm going to add the lightest color up at the top here where my background or my hill at Gas Works Parks which is the sun. So I finish doing that so I'm going to go back to my blue's but this time I'm going to use my lightest blue for the background and put in the water. One of the things that always important in watercolor pencil is to save your white so I'm going to do that by leaving the sails on my sailboat. The color of the paper and not putting any paint on any pencil on them what so ever. Stay tune for the next segment as we work on the water."
