I was disappointed in this video too. It didn't actually show you how to frame the cross stitch! I am in the middle of framing one, and don't know how to reduce the bulk of fabric on the back to be able to get the back of the picture frame on. Also, my local cross stitch dealer showed me much more about framing than this video. To Flonsi: When you start your first cross stitch, you take about 1/2 inch or so of floss as a tail, and work the first few cross stitches over it to secure it. From then on, you always run the needle under 5 or 6 previous stitches to secure the tail, then start your next cross stitch. This keeps things neat on the back. Knots will get bulky. You want to keep your cross stitch as flat as possible. As far as stitching, I do one color as far as I can, then start another color key next to the first color. I start in the middle of the pattern after folding my fabric in 4's to find the center. Work out from there. (I verified my method with my local cross stitch store, and she said that's fine.) Hope this helps!

This video didn't show anything, sorry. Just talking. Also the video series did not tell me what to do with the threads on the back. I know I'm not supposed to knot them, but how do I do it. And the videos did not show how to actually stitch a picture. You're supposed to first stitch the row in one direction and then finish the other direction on all the stitches in the row.
