"Hi, I'm Pam on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to show you different art projects for kids. Another great fun thing to make are things that kids can use outside of the house, just every day playing like binoculars. Now the first thing you want to do is to take either an old toilet paper or paper towel roll. Some times if you get paper towels rolls, you want to cut them to the desired length but some kids like them this long. You have the kids decorate them. These are great things to use. They're paint pens. They don't make as much of a mess. You just squeeze and the paint comes out. You let them decorate it up, they can glue on some beads if they want to. You can use crayons, markers, it really doesn't matter, just let them go crazy. After that you want to take your hole puncher and punch holes into the sides of the rolls, you want to do one on each. This is what you're going to stick your yarn through to hold the paper towel holders together. Cut off some yarn, long enough to go around a kid's neck and then you're going to thread it through the hole of the binoculars that you just punched. Now kids are going to need your help with this. Once you get it in, you want to tie it around and you string it through. And you're going to want to tape the binoculars together with tape, that helps hold them together because the string itself isn't going to do much but hey, if the kid wants to have them like this, let them have them. And then, pretty, you can tie them around their neck if it's long enough to go around their neck and they have their own home made binoculars."
