"Hello, I'm Matt Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you easy ways to draw turkey cartoons for this holiday season. The neck is going to be largely an exercise in outlining with our black colored pencil, and following the lines that you drew earlier. This is going to be a situation where you may be like "oh, you know, I didn't quite like everything that I did there." So, you know, you can always alter things a little bit as you go over it again. So, for instance, I wanted that little bump to go out here a little further. So, that's an easy change to make. We are still going to parallel that. Now, towards the bottom of the neck is where things are going to get interesting. This is where I'm going to add in some dark brown. And I'm not going to have a very heavily de-marked line. It's not going to be like white and then dark brown. No, it's going to kind of taper and fade. And by doing this, you basically put your pencil on the page and you flick upwards, like so, taking less pressure off. Basically, you start on the paper, and you end up up in the air. That's how you can get like a nice little blending effect there. And then we are going to start taking this dark brown down just beneath the neck, which is going to set us up very well for making our first forays onto the main body. "
