"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Jim Dufresne. I'm here to tell you about Jazz guitar. Lot of theme songs from movies are very popular to adapt to Jazz music. Pop tunes. My own band will do a lot of that. We'll take some Pink Floyd songs and play with Jazz tunes. And we'll add swing factor, we?ll add, we'll take a song and play it in a Salba fashion, in a Lang fashion. With Jazz imagination is important and spontaneity. With Jazz you might to be able to improvise a solo over practically any chord changes. And ideally you should make your solo make sense. I know it's an art form and that's why you tune in with me right now. Because you want to know. What is it that I?m looking for in a good Jazz solo? Well, interest. Is it good for me? It should be correct but just like speech you don't have to use correct language to be interesting. Look at George Bush. How high form was that. In the introduction of that song which is Time by Pink Floyd. Our even ejects a little pipe line. Just to have some fun. Have fun with it. If you're having fun with it, then you are being successful."
