" Hi this is Jim Luke again and now we’re going to talk a little bit about the granddaddy of harmonicas; the chromatic. This is just a ten hole; you can get them sixteen hole and even bigger. This is the harmonica you are going to use if you want to play jazz. This is also the harmonica you want to use if you are doing a lot of melodic work. Let me give you an example, a little bit about the sound that you get and the kind of music that is being played on this instrument. Now you saw at the end of that that I hit the button that gave me the flat I needed to play that melody. That is the big key with the chromatic harmonica, it allows you to play this kind of style with sharps and flats without trying to bend them and it’s probably the greatest thing that you’ll ever have if you want to play jazz harmonica. Start with a ten hole or twelve hole and let it go. Thanks a lot."
