"JOE WILES: We're coming in at number 26 another Chili Pepper song, it's "Tell Me Baby." Let's take a look. The chord we're going to start out with has our index finger on the 1st fret of the B string, has our middle finger on the 2nd fret of the G string and our ring finger on the 3rd fret of the D string. We're going to hit with the right hand with our thumb and index finger the D and the G strings together. Then we're going to hit with our middle finger the B string. Now we're going to keep our index finger there, take our middle finger put it on the 2nd fret of the D string leaving the G string open--same idea. The next chord we're just going to leave the D, G and the B strings open and do the same idea, these two strings--and then with our middle finger we're going to put on the 1st fret of the B string--then we're going to pluck with our index finger the G string and our middle finger here on the 2nd fret of that G string. Together this riff sounds like this. And then we finish it off with a D minor chord which is an open D, 2nd fret on the G, 3rd fret on the B and 1st fret on the high E. We're going to go back through the riff. And then we're going to play a G major chord, actually a G5 chord. We're going to put our ring finger on the 3rd fret of the low E string. With that same finger we're going to come out lay it loosely across the A string so it doesn't ring up--okay. Open D string, open G string, ring finger on the 3rd fret of the B string and pinkie on the 3rd fret with the high E string, we're going to strum it all. Put together slowly it all sounds like this. Stay tuned for the next segment. We're going to take a look at the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black". I'll see you there."
