"JAYNE ENTWISTLE: So we're teaching you the basic rules and structures of improv. Well, what are some of those rules? Listening, accepting, working together, and accepting offers. Andrew what's an offer? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Good morning Jayne. It's a beautiful day. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Yes, it is. So Andrew offered that my name is Jayne, and then, it's a beautiful day. And I accepted his offer by saying, "Yes it is." Here is an example of no offers and a very poor scene. ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: What's up? JAYNE ENTWISTLE: I don't know. What you want to do? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Whatever. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Um, do you want to go to the mall? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Um, I guess. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Do you--are you hungry? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Kinda. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: What'd you want to eat? ANDREW STUBBLEFIELD: Like maybe something, food. JAYNE ENTWISTLE: Wow. That's a brilliant, great scene that's going far. We have no idea who we are, nobody made an offer. We asked a lot of questions, and it was probably a little tedious to watch. This is why need to learn the rules and structure of improv."
