"Well here we are at the decoration stage and Ava has just done an amazing job at putting some fabric on her drum, just because she wanted it. Now decorating your drum, of course, you can do just about anything you want. You could do the little sparkles, it's really up to the child and you know their own sense of imagination. On me, the towel. You need to find some decorations Madeline. Maddie's ready to stick some more decorations on. And working clean is always good. Well, see if we have sparkles. I'm not sure. We might have some sparkly ribbon. But of course, the decorating part is totally up to the kids. There's any number of things you can do to it. You could glue macaroni on; you can do just about anything. It's wide open. And it's a huge pallet here. The kids have all this to color. Oh and here's Felix who's ready to decorate a bat. Good job Felix. High five on that one? High five? Low five? Low five. Alright! You know, I don't know if we have sparkles today, but next time we're doing drums we'll make sure we have sparkles. We have something like sparkles? We may have some sparkly crayons in here if you find them. There are some with sparkles on them. So, this is part of the fun of creating your own instruments knows you did it. And then you can take it home and keep it and make it all your own. So the goal here for you of course is to get kids interested in creation and creating and also to get them to play music. So it demystifies the music experience."
