"Now that we have all these pieces laid out, I love the pattern, I love the way it came out, I'm going to glue it down. This is what I do. It is really called buttering the pieces, just like you would butter a piece of bread. I put, this is ceramic tile adhesive which works great, and I just put it on the piece and glue it down in place. Very simple. The adhesive comes from home improvement stores, your local home improvement store will carry this. It's readily available, very easy to get. When I do the marbles, a lot of times, I will use just a transparent glue because I like to be able to see through the marble so frequently I'll use just a transparent glue on the marbles themselves. That's all there is to it, very simple, gluing it down. Once these things are glued down you must wait twenty-four hours before they are grouted. That way they are, the glue is set and it works really great."
