"In this clip, we will be talking about the woman’s tango basic. In the tango, the woman always starts with her right foot and as the woman goes back, she wants to make sure to put her toe down first, so we are going to take three walking steps and a sidestep to her left this time, so we do one walking step, two walking steps, three walking steps and a sidestep to her left, remembering to drag that left foot in without changing weight and from another angle, three walking steps and a sidestep to her left, back with the right, back with the left, back with the right and a sidestep to her left, dragging that right foot in without changing weight. Let us try that in rhythm. Tango rhythm is slow, slow, quick, quick and slow. Starting back with her right foot, it is slow, slow, quick, quick, slow, dragging that foot nice and slow and not changing weight. From another angle we do back, slow, slow, quick, quick and slow drag. One more time and that rhythm is slow, slow and quick, quick, slow with the drag and that is the woman’s tango basic."
