Hi, we're cartooning today and we've been drawing a whole bunch of different animals. But now, since I've been drawing a little bit more realistically, even though they have been cartoony and in my own way. I'm going to talk to you about something very special that happens a lot of times in comics and cartoons. And that is, big word, hold on, anthropomorphism. And anthropomorphism is basically to be explained, is if you see somebody, like well say, there's Pluto the dog from Disney, well what about Goofy the dog? He is actually more of a human character, walks upright and has a whole bunch of human characteristics. And that's basically all anthropomorphism is. Even Garfield and Snoopy walk upright and have thoughts and emotions of their own. So, we're going to take this little normal dog that I've drawn, and to anthropomorphize him, we're going to redraw him. But since I've been drawing little beady eyes, I'm going to draw him with big happy eyes. He's going to be smiling, his mouth is open. He's got his little ears. There's his collar. His arms are outstretched, he's ready to give a hug. And as you can see, instead of drawing little paws, I've drawn arms. And instead of those little haunchy legs he's got, I'm going to draw long legs that he's actually standing. That dog is walking upright and is ready to go, I don't know, go find a bone or atleast talk about finding a bone, because he's got a mouth. Anthropomorphism.
