Hi! We're cartooning today and we're drawing animals. I've shown you how to do mammals and how to reptiles and amphibians. Now, we're going to think about what's the most prominent feature on bird. My bet is going to be on his beak. I've got a little simple beak going on. Little eyes. Then also on bird, we have feathers and wings. His wings are spread out. He's ready to fly. He's got a little tail and he's got little bitty birdie feet. I think he's a younger kind of baby bird, so he's got a little feather coming out of his head there. That's what we concentrate on when we're talking about birds. If we were to draw a duck, what I do is I draw a little smile jetting up. There's the bill and he's got a little tough to feathery hair there. There's his duck body. He's actually floating in the pond. Little ripples of water there. Now that we've talked about birds and we've gone into the water, let's go a little bit further down into the blue and draw a fish. Fish are pretty simple themselves. They've got little eyes. You see his lips coming out there. He's got a fin. He's got a back fin and he's got a dorsal fin. When I draw fish, I like to draw little bubbles. There's their shine coming up as that fish is breathing under water. Fish can be drawn and are in many different types. What's another fish or what's under water? A jellyfish. Birds and fish.
