"I'm Daniel for Expert Village. So now perhaps one of the most famous dance moves in all times Micheal Jackson moonwalk. He actually didn't admit that he stoled that from the old school popping and lockers. So basically old school break dancers is where he took it from or where he has his roots. So now I'm going to break down what is really going on. So there is 2 steps to this move and here is step one. The leg that is up if you can see right here this leg is up, this is the leg I'm going to be pushing off of. Most of my weight would be on this right leg, the other leg is now doing a slide we are going to glide. So here is what you do, leg up and I'm going to push off and slide. Now I switch it and this guy goes down, the other leg is up and I slide and it is just the same thing over and over again. So again another demonstration."

on 7/8/2009 Daniel,
Michael Jackson did not steal the moonwalk from breakdancers.
The moonwalk was first performed, on film at least, by a blues singer called Bill Bailey in the 1940's.
A clip of Bill Bailey's moonwalk is readily available on Youtube

on 8/2/2008 This is TERRIBLE! You should actually try and read some history before you tell about it, and maybe try to learn the dance move before you teach it to someone. First of all, he DID NOT steal it. He credited it to the guy who invented it. Second, you start with your left foot ON YOUR TOES behind you. Then, even out your weight and slide. Snap down the foot up, and up ON YOUR TOES the foot down. Voila. The Moonwalk.
