"Hi! My name is Cass Naumann and on behalf of expertvillage.com. We are talking about exercising the voice. In this segment we are going to talk about the importance of learning some basic keyboard skills to help assist you in your warmup. The first thing you are going do is find little C and it is always just to the left and center of the name how you type in piano so if it says Kawaii or Steinway just to the left of center you will find middle C. There is three black keys, two black keys, it is going to be just below the first of the black keys with the two. So we are going to find little C and just playing the white keys, you are just going to go up five keys and then down just going to go up from C, D, E, F and G back down F, E, D, C and this is going to be a warmup…. just going up and down these five notes, up… down and then again goes up for five and back down and as you learn your keys you need to go up a full step into the key of D, the same thing up for 5, the third note is always sharp. So here in this case in F it is going to be sharp, so its D, E, F sharp, G, A, G, F sharp, E, D. So as when your keys continue with that going up the whole step, now E, F sharp, G sharp, A, B, A, G sharp, F sharp, E, go ahead and continue up to F, G, A, B flat, C, D flat, A, G, F up into the key of G, all white keys again G, A, B, C, D, C, B, A, G and then back into C all the way up the top of the octave C, D, E, F, G, F, E, D, C."
