I'm going to demonstrate for you a Son Clave. If somebody ever says play me a clave pattern, this is probably the one that they're referring to. Three two son clave is made up of a measure of three notes followed by a measure of two notes. Hence the three two son clave. Now the three you've already learned if you've watched the Baiao segment. That's one, two, three, one two three, one two, one, two, three, one, two three, one two. There's that group of three notes, one, two, three, one, two three. Now we're going to play that back and forth. They're A, B, back and forth between that three note pattern, the baiao. And a two note pattern where written out in quarter notes you're playing on count two and count three. One, two, three, four; one, two three, four. Or you can count it as your two pattern. One two, dah, dah, one, two. You put the three and the two together, three, two son clave. One. One, two, three; one two. One, two, three; one, two. One, two, three; one, two. One, two three; one, two. There's your three, two son clave.
