The first step of Irish dancing is known as the threes. It?s similar to skipping and its pretty easy. So this is the most basic move they choose in keighlee dances and set dances and all sorts of dances. So get ready. First, front foot, back foot, front foot, hop. Again. Front foot, back foot, front foot, hop. Its similar to two skips on one foot. Skip, skip. And then you use your left foot. Front foot, back foot, front foot, hop. So we put the two steps together and it becomes, one, two, three, hop. Two, Two, Three, hop. Three, two, three, hop. Four, two, three, hop. These come in sets of eight with each line of music. And you have to remember all of your points when you are doing your threes. They?re usually formed in a circle, which is known as the lead round for Irish dancing. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. And that's the lead round.
