ANGELA FRACASSO: I'm Angela, ExpertVillage.com. In this segment, I'm just telling you how you can seal your mural in and get it completely sealed in so you can scrub it when you're done with the mural. I use what they call Polycrylic. This mural is not finished but I'll show you a little bit how it goes on and stuff, so when you are finished with your mural. I like to get the satin finish. You can also do a glossy finish if you prefer a gloss on your wall. You can do it in the gloss finish. And of course, that's--the more glossy it is, the more light is going to bounce off of your painting, and I like the painting to be showing more than light bouncing off of it. So you can also find at Lowe's American Tradition's full-finish sealer. It's a little bit cheaper than Polycrylic. It does work well and you can get that in gloss, semigloss or satin. You can also get it in flat, I believe. So it's creamy white, right from the can but when you--as you paint it on, it dries to a clear--sometimes it will look milky white over your painting but it dries to a clear. And you want to make sure you hit the whole, entire wall because you will be able to see the sheen difference even if you do have a satin wall and you're putting on a satin. It's still going to be a little bit different with the sheen and so you're going to want it to be over your entire mural. So if you look at it in certain lighting, you're not going to see a sheen difference where you've put the sealer on and where you haven't put your sealer on. Of course, that's not going to be a problem if you do an entire wall mural.
