Video Transcript

"Hello, my name's Melissa Schenk and on behalf of Expert Village, today we are going to be talking about how to wrap a Christmas present cost effectively. In our first clip, let's talk about wrapping presents with something as simple as cardboard boxes or cardboard tubes. Depending on where you're purchasing your Christmas presents, a lot of stores even have cardboard boxes. Really pretty ones that they'll be able to actually give you to wrap your gifts in and you won't even necessary need the wrapping paper to go with it. Some boxes are so beautiful. You can get something as simple as a white plain cardboard box and then use color to dress it up. You can put stickers on it. You can dress it with ribbons or bows or you know all sorts of different like one large sticker bow to put on top of that. But something as simple as that cost you nothing but some ribbons and bows and no wrapping paper. Or depending on the gift that you might be giving, maybe it'll fit in to a cardboard tube like so. Doesn’t look all that fancy now but what you can do is you can dress it up in various ways. You can put some fancy ribbon on the end of it and dress it up as a nut cracker perhaps to match that. Or you could take a couple of different types of colored ribbon and dress is around like so and turn it in to, you know a candy cane and tape it off on both ends. I am showing you very quickly how to do this but if you're crafty, you use your imagination, you can, you know take things you already got in your house or some gift wrap from last year and you can do all kinds of things with some as simple as a cardboard tubes and cardboard boxes."
