" Hi my name is Dan and I'm here with Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to tie a truckers hitch. Which functions very much like a two to the one pulley and it is a excellent method to making the ridge lines for tarp setup very tight. Make your rope fast to a tree or some other object. Then take your working end then wrap it around another tree or in this case the piano leg. Form a slipper hitch in the none working end of your line. With the working end feed through the slipper hitch loop and pull back towards the tree. To make this knot fast tie another slipper hitch and there you have it. A very nice thing about this knot is that when you double it all you have to do is pull and it disappear. I can tie it one more time for you. One slipper hitch, feed through, tyeing, and that is the truckers hitch. "
