"Hi, my name is Nat McCullough, on behalf of Expert Village, in these following clips we're going to talk about removal and replacement of the vehicles fuel filter. In this clip we're going to talk about a little pre-assembly work your going to want to do to your fuel filter before you try and install in on your vehicle. It's a time saver and while you have it out and readily accessible you're going to want to put the mounting cover back on, just so you're not trying to manipulate your wrench down inside the engine compartment or underneath the vehicle laying on the ground. Our fuel filter snaps right in, just like so, just like that. Make sure it's seated. As you can see there's a flow arrow, this particular one is an upward flow. The fuel enters through here and through the fuel rail through there. You're going to want to make sure you have that arrow in the right direction, otherwise the element will get pushed down by your fuel pressure and it'll plug up and your engine won't run correctly. This particular vehicle has a hose clamp that holds on the mounting bracket assembly. We're just going to screw it right back together. There you go, as you can see, that was a lot easier doing it out here in the open than it would be trying to manipulate my screwdriver or ratchet down inside the engine compartment."
