Hi, my name is Nathan McCullough on behalf of Expert Village. In these clips we're going to talk about some of the possible problems with your windshield washer system and some hints and tips to get better performance out of it. In this clip we're going to talk about verification of our washer pump repair before we button up all of our fender well and bumper together. That's a good idea to do that. It is possible to get a bad part from the part store even though it's brand new. It's happened to me on several occasions. So what I've done before I put everything together, I'm going to pour some washer solvent into the system. It's okay to spill some of this on the ground, it's normally bio-degradable and non toxic. It'll end up there anyway when you operate the system. What I'm going to do now is step back to the passenger compartment and turn the switch on. And we have verified our repair there and as you can see washer solvent comes out of the nozzles. From there you're going to want to come back over and inspect all of your mating surfaces, your grommets, your pump, your hoses for any kind of possible leaks. Once you've verified that there are no leaks in the system functions it's okay to go ahead and button up the rest of your disassembling procedure.
