"Here we are in the detail department. This is one of the most important departments because it's the last stop before you get your car back. This vehicle has just come out of the spray booth, they've taken off the masking tape and you can see a nice beautiful finish here. But, right on this surface, it's very very difficult to see even with the naked eye, are little dust particles. So in order to make this finish look like a nice mirror surface that you're used to, they have a polisher and the polisher comes along and as you can see that they've done here on this side. They take off all the imperfections; basically it's removing a very very microscopic amount of paint and just making that surface smooth as silk. An addition, once the car has been polished, as you can see a lot of the polish and color sanding has run down, it's a major clean up, almost in complete detail. They had to do the dash; the dust from the shop has worked its way into the vehicle. They have to turn on the air conditioning blower to make sure that there is not dust concentrated inside that will be in your face when you pick it up. They do a nice cleaning, make sure that all of the work has been completed properly, all the nuts and bolts are there, and then you get a phone call saying, your vehicle is ready. And that's the process, thank you."
