on 8/2/2008 I would have liked you to have been more specific about where to place the jack. If anyone has a hydraulic jack why would they need help with brakes?

on 8/2/2008 I have never changed brake pads or rotors. I checked other sites for help but most only have pictures. Your instructions made the job easy and straight forward. Thanks.

Video Transcript

"Hi! This is Jon from Expertvillage.com and in this video clip, we will continue with step 11 for replacing disc brake pads. Once you’ve depressed the piston, we need to install our new brake pads. To do that we are going to install them the same way that we replaced them. Sometimes it’s kind of difficult to get them positioned just right so you need to wiggle them around a little bit and put them in there. With the outboard pad, it has those pins that hold it in so you need to make sure that you get that position just right, and push it in. On some models, you’ll have those pins on the outboard pad that you’ll need to hammer a little bit and bend them so that they hold the brake pad on. "
