    " Hi! I am Carl Shepard with expertvillage.com, talking about some different bass techniques here in the blues. We are doing the key of G here and the one I just showed you was a blues box pattern. Now I want to show you a similar box pattern, but this is going to be a little bit more major. The last one we did was in the Pentatonic scale and this one is going to be in the major scale. So we are playing in G, I played the third fret of the E string twice, second fret of the A string twice, fifth fret of the A string again and then second fret of the D and that is the pattern, and I switch to C on the A string here, third fret, back down your root and then we play the D, which is the fifth fret of A, back down to C, and then G and here is a turnaround for you and that is going to get us prepared to comeback to the root note of the progression."
