"Hi, I'm Mike Lais. On behalf of Expert Village today we are going to be talking about getting familiar with the guitar. So you want want to play the guitar that is a great idea, one that I personally enjoy myself. I play guitar. I love music, I think it's a wonderful thing to have. It's a beautiful thing, really. But there are a few things that you are going to need in order to get started on playing your guitar. In this segment of our video we are going to get you familiar with things as to what parts of the guitar are on the guitar. We are going to teach you the basics of strumming techniques. We are going to get you fingering a few notes and even playing your basic chords so that you can learn all your favorite hits and play them in front of your friends and family. We'll get you a few scales as well so you can be able to maybe even play a little solo after you do a little bit of practice. But this segment we're just going to get you familiar, get you comfortable with how to sit and what is the proper practicing technique on how to play your guitar. Then you should be ready to roll in no time."
