5 stars -- really slick moves -- thanks Salsa Mia! My wife and I added these advanced steps to our repertoire after taking a beginning Salsa workshop. They are a little tricky; so you'll have to watch the videos many times and practice with a partner to work out all the details. We take 1 new advanced move per week to grow our style.

My name is Susan and this is Alex. We’re here at Yuka Lounge with Salsa Mia on South Beach, and we’re here to teach you advanced salsa. Okay, now what we’re going to work on now is our main step, which is called Salsa Mia, just like our school. What we’re going to do this 1, 2, 3, cross body lead, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and another cross body lead. Girls, I want you to turn all to the guy who goes to pick you up. Now, you might turn 3, 2, or 4 times. It depends on how fast the song is. Okay, so once again, we’re going to do a cross body lead, 1, 2, 3, outside turn, 1, 2, 3. Now men, when we get here on 3, what we’re going to do is I want you to really yank the girls arm. We’re going to go 1, 2, 3, and 5, 6, 7.
