Hello, my name is Teanna Woods, and today we'll be talking about spot metering verses partial metering. Partial metering is metering your entire scene and a moving subject. Spot metering is focusing on one specific spot, or one specific subject matter. You just take the meter up close to their face, or whichever the subject is, and take your meter reading. So, you really want to make sure that when you are in the scene with the moving subject you use partial metering. When you're not in the scene with a moving subject, you can use spot metering. It's really important to know the differences between the two so you can assess any situation and be able to pick partial or spot metering. So, those are the differences, and now you can make your choice when you're in any scene. Thank you for watching.
