Hello, everyone. I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to hook up PEX to your bathtub faucet. Now for this job you'll need a couple things. For this job we will be using a PEX crimper, some PEX tubing, a PEX elbow with a half-inch female, some plumber's tape, a crimping ring and a piece of galvanized steel plumbing pipe. So the first thing we have is our tube coming down for our faucet. What we'll do is take our crimp ring, slide it on to the PEX, then put our elbow on there. And we'll go ahead and crimp that into place. After that's crimped into place you wanna go ahead and attach it to your studs behind your wall. After that's attached, we're going to take our half-inch galvanized plumbing pipe, and go ahead and put the Teflon tape, or plumber's tape on it. You wanna make sure that we've put it on there nice and thick, that way it won't leak. After you have that taped, go ahead and put it into the wall and into your female connector. Now we'll go ahead and tape the other piece of our galvanized pipe. After your galvanized pipe has its tape on it, go ahead and take your faucet and screw it into place. After that, you're ready to go ahead and turn on your water and see how your faucet works. I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors, thank you all for watching, and good luck with this project.
