Hi, I'm Linda Hutchinson. Today, I'm going to show you how you can decorate a Folgers can. If you drink a lot of coffee like I do, you'll find yourself with a lot of cans that are readily recyclable to organize different things in your household. So, this one, I've already begun to apply some duct tape to, it comes in all colors and prints, I'm using this black and white checkered board one. I'm also using some craft foam, which I have inked the edges of, to coordinate with the can. So, I am going to, well, first of all, I'm going to trim the edge of this a little bit, because the last thing I used it on, I did not give it a finished edge and I'm going to need it to be straight for this. So, I'm going to go ahead and straighten this out. Sometimes the tape wants to stick to your scissors, you can just pull it away and go back in and get through like that. Now, I'm going to go ahead and pull this off, this tape sticks really, really well. Sometimes, not when you want it to, but just go ahead and pull it off. And it still retains it's adhesion pretty well, which is cool. Now, I'm going to place this here, and work my way down, kind of eyeballing it, it doesn't have to be exact. If you want, you can measure it to make sure it's equidistant between the other pieces of tape. I don't really feel the need to be that precise, but it's all up to you. And you're going to work your way down, smoothing out any air bubbles. However, if you get an air bubble, you can just pull it back, up and reapply. That's one good thing about duct tape, unlike a lot of other items, once you pull them off, they really lose their adhesive property. Duct tape doesn't so much, you can keep peeling it off and reapplying it and it still works pretty well. So, now, I'm going to smooth that down after I've trimmed to the same place as the other ones. Then, I'm just going to go ahead and take this craft foam and just glue it to the top here, putting a bead of glue around the edge. I'm going to hold in place like this, just hold it down for a moment. The glue dries pretty quickly, you just want to hold it down for a moment. Then, I'm going to go ahead, put a little glue on this one. Any strings of glue can be easily removed afterwards, not to worry. O.k., now, I'm going to take this little foam part, and I'm just going to glue this onto one of these checker board portions. Because this craft foam surface, you can write on easily with a pen, or marker. So, this way, you can label the contents in way that can be viewed from the front, if you have this sitting on a shelf or in a cabinet. Now, you have a great way to decorate a Folgers can. My name is Linda Hutchinson, thank you so much for joining me, bye-bye.
